I modified the gremlins lot challenge for this mod, which is otherwise pretty annoying.

With my mod, instead of all objects breaking every single night, there will be a 10 percent chance of all of your scratchable objects (e.g. sofas, beds) will become scratched/worn if all your Sims are asleep at midnight.

I like to give this lot challenge to my Sims if I want them to struggle financially / look poor.

I used the scratching objects feature that came with Cats & Dogs for this mod. When objects are scratched, they will have scratches all over them and you can remove these scratches by reparing them for money.

I find this much more sensible than having to repair dozens of objects each day and most probably dying in the process of doing so.
